United Planning Organization, Diaper Distribution
Since the diaper program began, two families have been able to return to work due to being able to spend money on transportation instead of diapering materials. The DDDRP will continue to be impactful in our neighborhoods for our families and beyond.
UPO Team Member Perspective
Distribution day is always an event that I am excited to experience. Usually, this is the time when I can see the children and parents provide updates on their growth. During this time the families are so grateful to receive the diapers and wipes. I have witnessed tears of joy at distribution and received many hugs and loving remarks. It is a pleasure to work with a program to provide this service for our D.C. community.
