Harford County Community Action Agency, Diaper Distribution

We continued building the relationship with the family and after some encouragement and check-ins, we learned that father is now employed and working at a job he enjoys. The family is thriving – baby and parents.

Team Member Perspective

One of the families I worked closely with at Hall’s Cross Roads Elementary expressed that they were seeking out resources during one of my classes.  I mentioned the diaper program to her and how it might help them.  She was very interested.  So, I signed her up right away to provide some immediate relief.

From that point forward, I have been able to connect her to other resources around the area, such as the food pantry at Harford Community Action Agency (HCAA) Food Pantry.  The family has two children that needed daytime child care, and she was only able to work part-time under the circumstances.  She later shared that her spouse was unemployed.

Positive Impacts

We continued building the relationship with the family and after some encouragement and check-ins, we learned that father is now employed and working at a job he enjoys.  The family is thriving – baby and parents.
